IRS Simplifies Entering The OVDP Program by Issuing New Forms 14457 & 14452!

On August 27, 2014 we posted "IRS Simplifies Entering The New Streamline Program By Issuing New Forms 14653 & 14654!" where we discussed that the IRS has made it easier to enter the New Streamline Program Certification Process by creating Form 14653 –Certification by U.S. Person Residing Outside of the United States for Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures and Form 14654 –Certification by U.S. Person Residing in the United States for Streamlined Foreign Offshore Procedures.

Now the IRS has simplified the process of entering the OVDP Program by issuing the following forms:

  1. Form 14457 –Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Letter and
  2. Form 14452 –Foreign Account or Asset Statement

You can locate Form 14452 Foreign Account or Asset Statement on the IRS's webpage 2012 Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, but you will not find form 14457 on that page, for some reason?
