Largest U.S. Corporations Paid Just 14 Percent in Taxes From 2008 to 2012.
The largest profitable U.S. corporations paid average effective federal income tax rates of just 14 percent from 2008 to 2012, and almost one in five of them did not pay any federal income tax at all in 2012, according to a report released Wednesday by the
Government Accountability Office
